1. In Short

Some links on FitLifeGuide may be affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase through an affiliate link, we may receive compensation at no additional cost to you.

2. What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is an ordinary link with tracking attached. The path looks like this:

  1. FitLifeGuide
  2. Affiliate link
  3. Third-party website
  4. Purchase / qualifying action
  5. Potential commission

Not every external link is an affiliate link — most links on the site are plain references with no commercial relationship behind them.

3. How We Disclose Affiliate Relationships

Where affiliate links appear, the relationship is disclosed clearly and noticeably — not hidden in a footer. Disclosures may appear:

  • Near the relevant product recommendation
  • Within the article itself
  • At the beginning of applicable content
  • On pages containing affiliate links

4. Editorial Independence

Our Editorial Approach

Commercial relationships should not automatically determine which topics are published, what conclusions are reached, whether a product is discussed, or how editorial content is written.

Editorial Policy

5. Product Recommendations

When products are recommended, recommendations should be based on relevant criteria such as:

  • Usefulness for the reader's goal
  • Features and intended use
  • Available information at the time
  • Reader relevance

We don't claim personal testing unless the team actually tested the product.

6. Does an Affiliate Link Cost More?

In qualifying affiliate arrangements, the price you pay is not increased simply because you used our affiliate link — the commission comes from the seller's side.

7. Affiliate Links Are Not the Same as Ads

Advertising

A third party pays for ad placement or impressions.

Affiliate

Compensation may occur when a reader completes a qualifying action through a tracked link.

The distinction matters because FitLifeGuide also displays advertising — see our Advertising Policy

9. Affiliate Programs

Specific programs will be listed here once enrolled — with each program's purpose and a link to its terms. No program names appear here until participation is real.

10. Changes to This Disclosure

Affiliate relationships may change, and this disclosure may be updated accordingly. The revised version carries a new “Last Updated” date above.
