Workout Questions
How many days a week should beginners work out?
Two to three full-body sessions with rest days between them. Consistency beats volume for the first six months.
How long should a workout be?
Twenty to forty-five minutes is plenty for beginners. Warm up, train hard, stop while the quality is still high.
Can you build muscle with home workouts?
Yes — push-ups, squats, lunges and rows with bands or dumbbells build real muscle for the first year or two, provided you progress and eat enough protein.
Is cardio necessary for fitness?
For heart health, aim for about 150 minutes of easy cardio per week — walking counts fully. More is optional, not mandatory.
Should you work out every day?
No. Muscles grow on rest days. Train hard two to four days a week and walk, stretch or rest on the others.
