Our Editorial Policy

How FitLifeGuide researches, creates, reviews, updates and corrects its content.

Our promise

Useful Information. Clear Standards.

FitLifeGuide aims to publish practical, understandable and responsibly presented information about fitness, nutrition, recipes and healthy living.

Accuracy

We aim to present information carefully and avoid unsupported claims.

Clarity

Complex topics should be explained in language readers can understand.

Transparency

We clearly distinguish editorial content, advertising, affiliate relationships and other commercial interests.

Process

Our Content Process

  1. ResearchWe start from established guidance — not trends or anecdotes.
  2. Source ReviewWe check claims against reliable sources before writing.
  3. WritingWe explain simply, qualify claims and state limits plainly.
  4. Editorial ReviewA second pair of eyes checks clarity, accuracy and context.
  5. Publication & UpdatesWe publish with dates, then revisit as evidence evolves.

Sources

How We Research

Health-related content may draw on established, checkable sources such as:

  • Government health organizations
  • Medical and professional organizations
  • Peer-reviewed research
  • Established academic sources
  • Recognized public-health resources

When appropriate, individual articles provide relevant sources. What we don't do: imply that every article has been medically reviewed. Review depth matches the topic's risk — everyday habit guides and higher-stakes health topics are not treated the same.

Responsible Health Information

  • Content is for general educational purposes.
  • Articles aren't a substitute for individualized medical advice.
  • Health claims should be appropriately qualified.
  • Uncertain or evolving evidence should not be presented as absolute fact.

Our Approach to AI-Assisted Content

Technology, including AI-assisted tools, may be used during parts of the editorial workflow where appropriate — for example, drafting structure, summarizing sources or checking readability.

Any published content remains subject to FitLifeGuide's editorial standards, human review and accuracy checks. The key distinction: AI assistance ≠ automatic publication. Nothing goes live on assistance alone.

We don't claim that every article is manually fact-checked by a subject professional. Review depth is proportionate to the topic, as described above.

Authors

Who Writes Our Content?

  • Authors are identified where applicable.
  • Author profiles describe relevant areas of experience.
  • Contributors should avoid making unsupported professional or medical claims.
  • Content should remain within the author's documented area of expertise.

Quality

Review & Fact Checking

  1. Draft

  2. Source Check

  3. Accuracy Review

  4. Editorial Review

  5. Publish

For higher-risk health topics, we seek additional qualified review only when available — and we don't use “medically reviewed” as a generic badge. If you see that label on an article, it means that specific piece received that specific review.

Freshness

How We Update Articles

Articles may be reviewed when:

  • Important information changes
  • Sources become outdated
  • New evidence materially changes the topic
  • Errors are identified
  • The article needs clearer explanations

Published: March 12, 2026 · Updated: September 22, 2026

Every article carries publication and update metadata in this format, so you can judge freshness at a glance.

Corrections & Errors

If we identify a meaningful factual error, we aim to correct it and update the article appropriately. For significant corrections, the article itself carries a visible note, for example:

Updated September 22, 2026: Previous information about… (the corrected detail appears here, in the article's own words)
